Dr. Carlson provides lectures and didactic training on a range of mental health and sexual health topics. She has been asked to present to a wide variety of providers including clinical psychologists, therapists, social workers, psychology interns/fellows, physicians, and medical residents.

Sexual health trainings have included: Conducting a Sexual Health Assessment, Diagnosing Sexual Dysfunctions Using the DSM-5, Behavioral Interventions for Sexual Dysfunctions, Understanding “Sex Addiction”, and the treatment of gender dysphoria.
